Some of the suggested RV modifications require you to be at least a little handy Don’t undertake any project beyond your capabilities.
Introduction One of the best things about an RV is it’s ability to provide all the comforts of home even when you are miles away from civilization. Key to our comfort are simple things like running water and indoor toilet facilities. Even small RVs have partial or complete self-containment capabilities and the basic design of the plumbing systems are pretty much the same, from a pop up camper all the way up to a big class A motorhome.

However, in areas with an acidic water supply copper pipes have developed contamination bitter-tasting water and pinhole leaks[ 1 ] , and must be replaced. Typically the house is re-plumbed with plastic pipes or the water is treated to make it less acidic and then the house is re-plumbed with copper. How much does it usually cost to get a new electrical hookup? We will probably be living in a motorhome for a few months this Summer while our new house is being built and I’m trying to figure out how much it will cost to have the power lines run out and a temporary pole put in immediately. I want to pay cash for the land, motorhome and power hook up but there is still a big question mark hanging over the electrical issue.
